§ Mr. MacleanFrom the information to date seven individuals convicted of murder in England and Wales 435W since the abolition of the death penalty had been convicted again of murder in England and Wales following release as follows:

One person convicted of a murder which took place in 1981 in Northern Ireland was subsequently convicted of a second murder in England which took place in 1992.
