§ Mr. Neil HamiltonAll regulations having an impact on business are under review as part of a Government-wide initiative to minimise regulatory burdens on business whilst maintaining effective and appropriate safeguards. The manufacture of fireworks is covered by the Explosives Act 1875, which is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Employment. I understand that the Act is currently under review by the Health and Safety Executive, in consultation with interested parties.
