§ Mr. Mullin
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list the Ministers in his Department who since June 1987 have visited(a) Saudi Arabia, (b) Malaysia, (c) Singapore and (d) South Africa on official business; and which such visits included party political activities in addition to official duties.

§ Mr. Howard
The following official visits have been made, during none of which do we have any record that party political activities were undertaken:
(a) Saudi Arabia The right hon.Douglas Hurd CBE MP—Home Secretary— April 1989.
(b) Malaysia None.
(c) Singapore The right hon. and noble Earl Ferrers—Minister of State—31 December 1991 to 3 January 1992.
(d) South Africa None.
