§ Mr. David DavisThe Cabinet Office has no "sensitive documents unit". However, all Cabinet Office records are reviewed for continuing sensitivity in the period before their release by a team of up to four part-time reviewers who form part of the Cabinet Office records section. Records are reviewed in accordance with the guidelines contained in chapter 9 of the Open Government White Paper (Cmnd. 2290) of July 1993. Records that are withheld are subject to regular re-review. Approximately 100 linear feet of records are dealt with during a year.
