§ Mr. HanleyThe last session of the WEU Assembly, which took place in Paris from 29 November to 2 December 1993, was attended by the Deputy United Kingdom Permanent Representative to NATO and other officials of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. There was no MOD representation on this occasion. A number of reports were presented, either singly or jointly, by United Kingdom Parliamentarians, on behalf of several of the Assembly's committees. Copies of those reports can be obtained from the WEU Assembly in Paris. Recommendations embodied in individual reports will be considered by the WEU Council in due course.
