§ Mr. SackvilleRecent allegations in the press regarding the methods used by the manufacturer to promote the prescribing of Tilade are currently under investigation by the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority under its guidelines on the promotion of medicines, copies of which are available in the Library. The production of Tilade is monitored routinely by the medicines inspectorate, as is the manufacture of all licensed medicinal products, we have no knowledge of any concerns which would justify a special investigation.
