§ Mr. SoamesThe control of wild mink is the responsibility of occupiers of land the Ministry has not collected details of their numbers or distribution.
However, data published by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee and the Institute of Terrestrial Ecology show that wild mink are widespread, with particular concentrations in mid and lowland Scotland and south-west England.
