To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will give figures for the total adult unemployment in Warley, West on 1 January for each of the past five years.

The number of unemployed claimants aged 18 years and over in the Warley, West constituency from 1989 onwards, in January of each year, was 3,374, 2,484, 2,862, 4,252 and 4,878.
