§ The Attorney-GeneralConsideration is to be given to the question whether it would be appropriate for three of my departments, the Crown Prosecution Service, the Serious Fraud Office, and the Treasury Solicitor's Department, to become agencies in Government under the next steps programme. I shall be setting in hand studies of the appropriateness of agency status in each case and will reach a decision in the light of this further work.
