§ Mr. SackvilleAlthough not bound by the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act 1944, the Department which includes the national health service management executive has accepted the provision that 3 per cent. of employees should be registered disabled.
At 1 December 1993, 1.4 per cent. of the Department's work force were registered disabled. In addition, there are other people with disabilities, who are not registered disabled.
