To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what plans he has to introduce new charters.

The last week has seen the publication of the courts charter for Northern Ireland. This brings the total number of charters to 38. The Benefits Agency will also be publishing an updated and improved version of its customer charter in the near future and there are a number of new charters planned for 1994. This is a part of the citizens charter's dynamic programme to raise the standard of all public services.
