To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how many files marked "not for National Audit Office eyes" are held by his Department.

The marking "not for NAO eyes" is used in accordance with an agreement between the Treasury and the National Audit Office—NAO—under which documents relating to the handling of relations between departments, the NAO and the Public Accounts Committee —PAC—are not automatically available to the NAO while they are current; 122 Cabinet Office and Office of Public Service and Science files are so designated.
