HL Deb 02 December 1993 vol 550 c43WA
Lord Gainford

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether changes have been made to the list of diplomatic posts abroad designated to accept entry clearance applications.

Lord Mackay of Ardbrecknish

There are three significant changes to the list previously placed in the Library. Since 17 November the Consulate-General in St. Petersburg has provided an entry clearance service, for the present to residents of its consular district only. In early December, the Embassy in Tallinn will accept applications from residents in Estonia. In Cameroon we have centralised our visa operation in Yaoundé: Douala no longer accepts applications

I am placing copies of the revised list in the Library of the House.
