Dr. Godman

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what are the average weekly earnings for(a) full-time male workers and (b) full-time female workers in (i) Inverclyde, (ii) Strathclyde and (iii) Scotland.

[holding answer 1 December 1993]: Information relating to average gross weekly earnings for full-time male employees and full-time female employees in Strathclyde and Scotland is shown in the table. Information relating to average earnings is not available below the level of Scottish regions.
