§ Dr. Mawhinney"Zemaphyte" Chinese herbal eczema remedy was added to the list of drugs and other substances which cannot be prescribed on national health service prescription from 1 November 1993. Zemaphyte may be prescribed on a private prescription by a general practitioner. The costs of dispensing a private prescription would have to be met by the patient.
