HC Deb 01 December 1993 vol 233 cc530-1W
Mr. Ottaway

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what changes have been made to the list of posts abroad designated to accept entry clearance applications.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

There are three significant changes to the list. Since 17 November the consulate-general in St. Petersburg has provided an entry clearance service, for the present to residents of its consular district only. In early December, the embassy in Tallinn will accept applications from residents in Estonia. In Cameroon we have centralised our visa operation in Yaounde; Douala no longer accepts applications.

I am placing copies of the revised list in the Library of the House.
