§ Mr. JackThe consultative meeting of the London convention held on 8-12 November agreed to introduce a ban on the disposal of radioactive waste at sea. The United Kingdom abstained from the vote. We are currently considering the implications of the convention's decision on this matter, but we have no immediate plans to carry out sea dumping of radioactive waste.
