What plans they have to make arrival and entry into the United Kingdom easier for those Commonwealth ex-servicemen coming to the United Kingdom in 1994 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the D-Day Normandy landings.

Immigration legislation does not allow blanket permission to be given for groups of people to enter the country. The Immigration Service will view sympathetically any requests to facilitate the entry of organised groups of veterans coming for the D-Day celebrations.
