To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he or his colleagues have met recently representatives of the Northern Ireland Care Homes Association; and if he will make a statement.

Senior officials in the Department of Health and Social Services have met representatives of the association on several occasions, most recently on 10 March 1993 at the request of my noble Friend Lord Arran.
