To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received concerning the future of the London Transport pension fund; and if he will make a statement.

We have received a small number of representations including an approach from the Transport and General Workers Union.

§ Mr. Corbyn
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what is the current value of the London Transport pension fund; and what proportion of its value is attributed to London Buses.

§ Mr. Norris
The value of the LRT pension fund as at 31 March 1993 was £2,022 million. Assets of the fund are not attributed to particular groups of employees.
