18. Mr. Bennett

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the discussion his Department's ministers and officials have had with the United States Government about nuclear tests.

Mr. Rifkind

We are in close contact with the United States Government on nuclear testing, at both ministerial and official level.

25. Mr. Connarty

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what recent discussions he has had with his United States counterpart regarding nuclear testing.

Mr. Rifkind

I shall be discussing a wide range of issues with Mr. Aspin later this week.
