Mr. Mike O'Brien

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the average price of one tonne of British potatoes in(a) 1975, (b) 1985 and (c) 1993; at what average price potatoes were sold to the public in the same years; and if he will also provide the figures at 1991–92 constant prices.

The following tables give information in respect of 1975 and 1985. Information about 1993 is not yet available so I have supplied figures for 1992.
