(2) what Government scrutiny there has been in the awarding of security contracts by Nuclear Electric; and what complaints have been received concerning the completion of the contracts;
(3) what tendering arrangements were made for security systems at Britain's nuclear power stations; and to whom the contract was awarded.
§ Mr. Eggar[holding answer 14 April 1993]: Security schemes at nuclear power stations are subject to agreement with the Government. The awarding of contracts in relation to security schemes is a commercial matter for the operator concerned.
