Whether they have received the advice of the Veterinary Products Committee on the question of whether a moratorium on organophosphorus sheep dips would be appropriate.

My right honourable friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food met with a Parliamentary delegation on 16th February. He asked the Veterinary Products Committee for advice on whether it would be prudent, in the light of the evidence currently available, to have a moratorium on organophosphorus sheep dips until its current review of these products is complete. My right honourable friend has now received the following advice from the committee:
