§ Mr. ScottA wide range of benefits is available to sick and disabled people, including people with schizophrenia, provided they meet the conditions of entitlement. Many such people will have already benefited from the introduction of disability living allowance in April 1992. We have no plans to further extend benefit provision for schizophrenics.
