§ Mr. NorrisFiscal incentives are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to consider. Large diesel engines of the type fitted to London buses will have to conform with the requirements of EC directive 91/542/EEC in respect of emissions, the first stage of which came into force in July 1992.
