§ Mr. WelshTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the(a) chairmen/women, (b) vice-chairmen/ women and (c) the members of each of the boards of quasi-autonomous non-governmental organisations over 390W which he has direct control; if he will indicate which of the appointments are part-time; and if he will list the date when each appointment is due to be renewed.
§ Mr. Lang[holding answer 3 March 1993]: As the information sought is extensive, I have arranged for a copy of the information sought by the hon. Member to be placed in the Library of the House. It shows as at 1 September 1992 the name of the body, the appointees to that body, their rank, the expiry date of the appointment where it is of a fixed term and whether it is a full-time or part-time appointment. Information on appointments to JP advisory committees and children's panels is limited to chairmen and deputy chairmen, as information on members is not held centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
