HC Deb 01 April 1993 vol 222 c362W
Mrs. Jane Kennedy

To ask the Secretary of State for Health when the joint working party of the British Paediatric Association and the College of Ophthalmologists looking at the ophthalmic services for children was reconvened; what progress it has made so far; and when it is likely to report.

Dr. Mawhinney

The first meeting took place on 2 March. I understand that at least two further meetings are planned between now and September to conduct a thorough review of the previous working party's 1984 report. The working party hopes to complete its work by the autumn.
