To ask the Secretary of State for Health what arrangements have been made for the funding of the confidential inquiry into homicides and suicides by mentally ill people after April.

Central funding for the inquiry will continue in 1993–94, subject to a satisfactory progress report from the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
