§ Mr. LeighMy Department takes every opportunity to encourage the achievement of a level playing field in IT markets in Europe and participated fully in discussions leading to the European Community Council resolution on electronics, information and communication technologies in November 1991. We also fully support the European Community Commission in its application of the Community's competition and state aids policies.
