§ Mr. RichardsTo ask the President of the Board of Trade (1) if he will list all the mines which supply coal to the Fiddler's Ferry power station according to tonnage during the last year for which data exists;
(2) if he will identify the sources of coal to the Fiddler's Ferry power station that were planned at the time of the original proposal to close 31 mines.
§ Mr. EggarThe sources of coal to Fiddler's Ferry power station are commercial matters for PowerGen and its suppliers. The market prospects for coal will be considered as part of the review announced by my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade on 21 October.
