§ Mr. BaldryThe chairwoman of the National Federation of Housing Associations wrote to my right hon. Friends, the Secretary of State for the Environment and the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, on 7 September.
In replying on their behalf, my hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Planning said that the Government could not comment on the discussions that are currently taking place about future public expenditure.
Next year, as this, resources will be allocated to the Housing Corporation's regions in accordance with the housing needs indicator.
