§ Mr. MichaelTo ask the Secretary of state for the Home Department if he will make it his policy to draw on the successful elements of the 20 drug prevention projects currently sponsored by his Department under the drug prevention initiative in order to make adequate provision of such services in each town and city in England and Wales which has a drugs problem.
§ Mr. JackThe work of the 20 local drugs prevention teams and of the central drugs prevention unit is being evaluated. Given the innovative nature of this work, it is at present too early to consider a possible broadening of the drugs prevention initiative.
