HC Deb 28 October 1992 vol 212 c737W
Ms. Corston

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what information he can give about trends in the levels of disposable income of the 6 million people with disabilities, taking account of the latest households below average income stocktaking report.

Mr. Burt

The latest and most reliable information about the incomes of people with disabilities is contained in the reports of the OPCS surveys of disabled people carried out between 1985 and 1988, copies of which are in the library.

The Family Expenditure Survey, the principal data source for Households Below Average Income, does not record whether an individual has a disability.
