§ Mr. Heseltine[holding answer 22 October 1992]: Issues of national energy policy requiring collective discussion would normally fall within the remit of the Committee on Industrial, Commercial and Consumer Affairs. Other Committees, such as the Committee on the Environment, may also discuss issues affecting energy policy as appropriate. The membership of these Committees was given by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister in his answer of 19 May to the hon. Member for Harlow, Official Report, columns 110–18.
