§ Mr. Sheerman
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how much money has been saved by the British Government following the closure of the British Council library in Bandung.

There was no net saving to the Government.

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs on whose recommendation the British Council library in Bandung was closed.
