HC Deb 26 October 1992 vol 212 cc527-30W
Mr. Barnes

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the latest estimates by the Registrar-General of Populations of those aged 17 years and over, plus 63 per cent. of those aged 16 years, for each district council area and parliamentary constituency, together in each case with the equivalent year's electoral registration figures.

Mr. Stewart

The information requested is given in the tables. For clarity of presentation, the first table includes regions and islands areas and the whole of Scotland. The population figures in table A are the Registrar General's provisional census based 1991 mid-year estimates. Those in table B involve additionally a certain degree of approximation and should therefore be treated with caution.
