§ Mr. David HuntOn the basis of the latest information available, the cost in 1992 will be about £30,000. Separate figures for Wales are not available for 1990 and 1991. Charges are based on financial years and the proposed charge for 1992–93 is £63. The charge for 1993–94 will be decided prior to 1 April 1993. The objective of the charge is to recover the full cost of sampling and testing work; thus, any change to the level would be to reflect the effectiveness of meeting that objective.
