§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeSir John May has completed his examination of the circumstances surrounding the convictions of the Maguire family and their co-defendants. I expect shortly to receive his final report on that part of his inquiry. He announced on 31 July how he intends to examine the Guildford and Woolwich case without prejudicing the impending trial of three Surrey police officers. I expect to receive his report on this next year.
