§ Mr. Charles WardleThe Government's views on article 8A are well known to the Commission, and vice Z 375W versa. In my right hon. and learned Friend's discussion with Vice-President Bangemann, however, we have agreed to concentrate on practical measures to make it as easy as possible for EC nationals to enter and leave the United Kingdom. My right hon. and learned Friend will report to the House in due course on the outcome of these discussions.
