HL Deb 20 October 1992 vol 539 c77WA
Lord Houghton of Sowerby

asked Her Majesty's Government:

On what conditions of service and remuneration Mr. Eachus, an inspector of the RSPCA, and Ms. Alison Robson, a veterinary surgeon are being employed as partner/witnesses for the prosecution in numerous court proceedings under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

Earl Ferrers

I understand that Mr. Eachus and Ms. Robson have attended court hearings as expert witnesses in cases concerned with alleged offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. The Home Office does not employ Mr. Eachus and Ms. Robson. We have no details of any remuneration, other than witnesses expenses, which may have been paid to them.
