§ Mr. Garel JonesMany members of the public have expressed their opposition to Norway's recent decision to resume commercial whaling. The Government regret this decision, which we hope will be reconsidered. Community legislation prohibits trade in whale products and requires member states to protect whales; new members will be expected to accept this legislation.
