§ Mr. SackvilleTecnazene, as with all pesticides, is approved for use following advice from the statutory advisory committee on pesticides. It has concluded that there is currently no evidence of risk to the health of consumers arising from the use of tecnazene on potatoes but is continuing its review of all the available data.
83WThe Department holds copies of the scientific papers on this matter that have been put before the committee. Once the committee has completed its review an evaluation document which will contain an assessment of all these data will be published.
