To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when copies of the report of the Health and Safety Commission on the Cannon street railway accident were (a) made available to the media, with or without an embargo, (b) published by HMSO, (c) placed in the Library and (d) made available in the Vote Office.

Mr. Freeman

The inspector's report was published by HMSO on 2 September. Unembargoed copies were made available to the media and placed in the House Library on the same day. There is no arrangement to place copies in the Vote Office.
