To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many(a) armed service and (b) civilian observers from his Department are currently with the United Nations transitionary authority in Cambodia: what are their rank; and if he will make a statement.

There are currently 121 UK military personnel in the United Nations transitionary authority in Cambodia (UNTAC). The full breakdown by service and rank is as follows:
