§ Mr. Peter LloydThe Green Paper consulted on certain options for future summer time arrangements, and revealed deep differences of opinion on them; national consultation on those options has not been repeated. As I explained in the Standing Committee debate on the draft Summer Time Order 1992 on 7 July, the European Commission is reviewing its position on summer time and that may affect the options. We shall bring forward our own proposals when the Commission's approach is clear.
