Which local authorities are now considering the introduction of road pricing experiments.

Direct charging of the public for road usage would require legislation.

A number of local authorities are showing interest in exploring the possible benefits of road pricing as one of the ways of dealing with congestion in their areas. We are ready to work with local authorities and to provide information and advice on our London research.

Urban road pricing schemes are in place in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim in Norway.
