§ Sir Hector MonroExtensive fire precautions are in place in the Palace of Holyroodhouse which are kept under constant review and are updated from time to time. These do not include a sprinkler system. On 23 November, the chief executive of Historic Scotland, which is responsible for the fabric of Holyroodhouse, commissioned a review of the fire precautions which will take account of the Windsor castle fire.
