§ Mr. AitkenMy right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State does not generally have responsibility for regulations which impact on the business community. However, a number of procedures within the Department have been revised to reduce the administrative burden on companies. In addition, we have recently undertaken, in consultation with the defence industry, an extensive review of our contracts procedures and a number of measures will be implemented which will have the same effect.
