§ Dr. MawhinneyEach year the Department publishes a set of health service indicators which provide comparative information on a wide range of health service activities within each health authority in England. The indicator set contains data on a selected range of clinical treatments within each authority and this information is discussed with regional health authorities in the context of preparing and implementing the annual corporate contracts. The health service indicators are made available free to every health authority and a set is placed each year in the Library.
